Physios warn stewards against local pay negotiations
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy has advised stewards not to enter into any negotiations at local level over incremental pay, after rejecting England-wide proposals for a two-year increment freeze.
The proposals from NHS Employers, which would have run alongside the two-year annual pay freeze, were rejected by the industrial relations committee after a consultation of CSP members received a strong response. The rejection was endorsed by the 16 other NHS trade unions in a joint meeting last month.
