Leaked report suggests wide-ranging pay reform for doctors

Doctors could face redundancies, the loss of clinical excellence awards, and pay cuts across the board over the next few years.

An internal paper from the Foundation Trust Network calls for wide-ranging reform of national wage scales, an end to guaranteed employment for trainees and a cap on pensions. The report was obtained by the health service union Unison and leaked to the Guardian newspaper.
