NHS Employers publishes response on preceptorship framework for nursing

NHS Employers has submitted a response on behalf of NHS organisations to the Department of Health on their framework proposals for nursing preceptorship.

The framework provides a definition of preceptorship, describes the key elements of good preceptorship and suggests outcome measures to ensure that preceptorship meets individual newly registered nurses' needs, demonstrates value for money and underpins the delivery of high quality care.
