More action needed to increase productivity of staff

Ward managers and team leaders will be asked to accelerate the adoption of initiatives to increase productivity, as part of the efforts to significantly cut costs in the NHS.

The NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement is currently developing four or five programmes to improve innovation and productivity.
