Dentists to be incentivised to take on new patients
New ways of encouraging dentists to take on new patients were announced by the Department of Health last week, following an independent review of NHS Dental Services by Professor Jimmy Steele. This includes linking dentists' income to the numbers of NHS patients they treat.
