Over 15,000 sign petition to support struck off whistleblower

More than 15,500 people signed the Royal College of Nursing petition in support of Margaret Haywood in the ten days after it was launched.

Ms Haywood was removed from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) register after she exposed poor patient care at a hospital for a BBC Panorama programme in 2005.
