New awards for midwives launched
The organisers of 11th anniversary Midwife of the Year Awards have created a new ‘Student Midwife of the Year’ bursary to allow a midwife in their final year training specialise in a clinic in the UK, therefore helping to secure the future of the service through encouragement and reward.
A ‘Lifetime Achievement’ award has also been created to honour a midwife who has given lifelong dedication to the service.
